Dr. Laura holds a Ph.D. from Washington University, St. Louis.  She is a Reiki Master/Teacher and a Shaman.  She is also a certified Life Coach, Health Coach, and Meditation Instructor.  Additionally, she is a U.S. Navy veteran, having served for more than 6 years teaching Nuclear Physics.

Dr. Laura holds a B.S. in Engineering Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, graduating before her 21st birthday.  She also holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics and Sciences from Washington University, where she simulateniously completed her Ph.D. in Earth and Planetary Sciences, studying Hydrothermal Systems on Mars with Implications for Life.

After graduation, Dr. Laura decided to serve her country for more than 6 years as a United States Naval Officer where she taught Nuclear Physics and Advanced Mathematics among other duties.  If that service wasn’t enough, Dr. Laura went on to teach science and mathematics for a local high school for 8 years.

While completing her Doctorate, Dr. Laura also studied with a Lakota Medicine Man and completed a full course of training in Wicca.  She has since trained as a Reiki Master/Teacher (2003) and a Shamanic Reiki Master (2014).

Additionally, Dr. Laura completed training with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2015, becoming certified as a Health Coach.  Since the pandemic, she has also completed Certified Life Coach and Meditation Instructor training with Mindvalley.

She uses all of her many talents to create a unique  practice where science and spirituality combine to produce true and lasting transformation for her clients.
